- Businesses that conduct United Way campaigns;
- Nonprofit agencies passed them to clients;

- Sample of callers to the newly launched 2-1-1;
- Web link to survey was included in local paper;
- Rockland County DSS clients; and
- School districts (parents).

- Income was a good match to Census 2000, but higher proportion of
lower-income respondents
- Marital status, employment status matched the Census 2000 well
