
Job Description:
· Assists the President, Board of
· Works with volunteers, community partners,
non-profits, governments, hospitals, faith-based organizations and others to collaboratively
build effective plans to target results, allocate funds, develop
additional resources and measure outcomes in order to positively impact Health
and Human Services issues in
· Plans, promotes and manages the logistics of the UWRC
Day of Caring event.
· Works in partnership with the President & the
Campaign
· Serves as the local administrator of EFSP and the Lend-a-Hand
program.
· Helps promote
· Encourages volunteer involvement in the community. Answers requests about volunteering
opportunities, works with the staff to appropriately recognize UWRC volunteers
and administers the Bobbi Lewis UWRC Volunteer of the Year Award nomination
process.
· Assists the staff in disaster planning/relief efforts
including the recruitment of VOAD volunteers.
· Continuously provides information to keep the UWRC
website updated. Also assists all staff to
develop marketing materials relating to community impact and UWRC fundraising
events.
· Coordinates the UWRC Annual Meeting and provides
support for all other UWRC Board meetings when Community Impact is highlighted. Must attend all Board, Executive Board and
staff meetings as well as support the committees that routinely work with the
· Represents UWRC at community and regional meetings,
agency events and relevant conferences in partnership with the President.
· Attends professional development seminars (may require
reimbursed travel).
· Reports to the President &
CEO and assists her/him in the oversight and management of day to day office
operations.
