September 24, 2004: On October 4, 2004, UBS and United Way of Rockland County
proudly present “United Way on Broadway”, an extraordinary evening
of magical musical moments with Neil Berg and a few special Broadway friends.
To be held at the Helen Hayes Theatre in Nyack, this wonderful musical production will feature current leading Broadway actors performing their signature pieces. The exceptional cast includes: Charles Bergell (Jean Valjean in Les Miserables); Ron Bohmer, (title role in The Scarlet Pimpernel); Melissa Bohon, (Anya in Fiddler on the Roof); John Cariani, (Motel the tailor in Fiddler on the Roof); Rita Harvey, (Fredel in Fiddler on the Roof); John Patrick Schutz (two time MAC Award nominee for best cabaret performer in New York); Bart Shatto (starring in Dracula) and Neil Berg, composer/lyricist of the off-Broadway hit, The Prince and the Pauper.
The evening will begin with a wine and cheese reception at 6:00pm. The performance is scheduled to begin at 7:00pm. General Admission tickets are $50 and include the 6:00pm reception. Benefactor tickets are $150. These special tickets entitle the holder to the wine and cheese hour, reserved seating and a special post-show reception. Through the generosity of UBS, our exclusive sponsor, 100% of the ticket proceeds will benefit the United Way of Rockland County Community Care Fund.
